The governor of Kaduna state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has said a bomb attack has occurred in Zaria. The attack was targeted on civil servants registering to work for the new state government at the local government headquarters. 25 people have been confirmed dead and 32 injured.
Details of casualties are sketchy at the moment, but eyewitnesses say many people lost their lives while several others were injured.
