President, Actors’ Guild of Ghana, Eddie Cofie Dies

The President of Actors’ Guild of Ghana (AGG) died over the weekend after brief illness. According to Ghanaian actors, Eddie was a talented film maker, who contributed hugely in nurturing the country’s movie industry.

Mourning him, actor, producer, Van Vicker stated, "I watched u on TV in my childhood days. Then i met you and spoke to u several times. You wld crack jokes 'abt me'... You became my president; the president of the Actors Guild of Ghana. Unfortunately, we never worked... together on a project. I wish. RIP Eddie Cofie."
