Ebola Survivor’s Wife Delivers Healthy Baby in Lagos

The wife of Dr. Adewale Adejoro, who survived Ebola, Mrs. Opeyemi Adejoro has given birth to a healthy baby girl at First Consultants Medical Centre, Lagos. The baby was born at 7.24 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. The Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Benjamin Ohiaeri announced the birth of baby girl. According to him, she gave to the baby weighing 3kg following strict guidelines and recommendations from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), USA, through pre-natal and delivery stages.

First Consultants is the hospital where Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian who brought the Ebola virus disease into Nigeria, was attended to before he died and spread the disease, leading to the death of 12 persons in Lagos and Port Harcourt.
