Mourinho Is A Joker- United Winger

Manchester United Winger Jesse Lingard has revealed Mourinho as the playful type in training as he tries garner support ahead of the new season. Jesse Lingard who scored the Red devils’ winning goal in their community shield victory over Leicester last Sunday said the manager appears different from the public perception about his attitude.

Lingard said: ‘He’s the main coach and the main manager. He takes all the sessions and, while he wants us to work hard, he is always cracking jokes and having banter with the players. I thought he’d be very strict but, even though he works us hard and his mind is always on the job at all times, he also has a joke with the players. I think that has helped the lads bond with him. Although Mourinho has so far employed hard and strict training regimes but it appears he is trying to win over his players ahead of his first season at the Old Trafford.

Lingard added: ‘He has that presence and aura about him, but you can still speak to him about anything and he will always try to help.’ Manchester United face Bournemouth on Sunday at the back of a victory over Champions, Leicester city.
