FUTO Students protest increase in School Fees & Ultimatum to pay or face extra N10K increment (Photos)

 

Students of Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State on Friday resorted to violent protest around the school premises, over an increase in school fees, an ultimatum to pay or face a fresh increment from the management. The management of the institution recently increased the school and gave a deadline, that ended today, Friday, February 17, 2017 for the students to pay the new fees or face another increment of N10, 000.

The students, who found the ultimatum to be strange and tyrannical started demonstrating around the school few hours ago. According to the information gathered, they destroyed school properties and vehicles. Continue to see more photos after the cut...
