Thiery Henry Replacing Wenger? Arsenal Legend Talks on Being the Next Gunners' Boss

Thierry Henry & Arsene Wenger at Arsenal

As Arsene Wenger's current contract runs out at the end of this season, Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has opened up on being ready to replace under-pressure manager at the club.

While speaking in an exclusive interview French channel, Canal+, Thierry Henry claimed he may not be ready to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager. Without a doubt, Wenger is under pressure after a tough season that has seen Arsenal once again exit the Champions League at the last-16 stage and potentially finish outside of the top four.
The Gunners' boss is also out of contract at the end of the season, leading to questions over whether he will renew his deal, and Henry who has worked alongside Roberto Martinez as Belgium's assistant manager, emerged as a potential replacement for his former boss. The Arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer believes he may still have a significant amount to learn before he can take over at the Premier League giants. 'It doesn't depend on me, there are things to be respected, it's my club of heart but I do not have any right. 'My name is quoted to succeed Wenger, I hear that. But it's hard for me to talk about it I have a lot of respect for everything the coach has done.
'Am I ready? I don't know and nobody knows, but I also need to learn my job. 'I will not be a consultant all my life, but coaching is not my aim. I have not fixed any goal in the head, I would love it [be a coach] and I will do everything for it. But, right now, I'm in learning mode.'
