Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has fallen out with the people of Tanzania after the singer received a fashion award allegedly meant for a Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee.
Although Tiwa was not present at the Award ceremony, her stylist, Swanky Jerry who also received an award as the Best Stylist got the award on her behalf.
Elated and grateful, Tiwa had shared a photo of the award with appreciation to the organizers.
However enraged Tanzanians have stormed the Instagram page of Tiwa Savage with curses and insults for receiving an award she does not deserve.
According to a fan page of Vanessa Mdee, Vanessa beat Tiwa Savage in the voting and hashtag procedures with large gaps only for the organizers to play favorites and for Tiwa to receive the award.
It was even alleged that Tiwa Savage had paid the organizers to receive the award.
Well, it is going down on Tiwa’s page with shouts of ‘Thief’ and ‘Bringbackouraward’! Meanwhile, the Savage soldiers are not holding their peace either!
