Theresa May advocates for same sex marriage in Nigeria

The Prime minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May has called for same-sex marriages in Nigeria and all other countries within the Commonwealth.

May made this known while speaking at the first joint forum at Commonwealth Head of Government Meetings in Westminster on Tuesday. She stated that same-sex relationships across the Commonwealth states should not be criminalised.
May added that she understands that some of the laws against same-sex marriages in the Commonwealth were made by the UK, adding that the laws were wrong then and are still wrong now.
