The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu has been lambasted by Yoruba Council of Elders describing his move to campaign for President Muhammadu Buhari during the Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja as sad and unfortunate.
It would be recalled that the Minister had attended the FEC meeting brandishing Buhari 2019 re-election campaign materials.
The incident happened shortly before the commencement of the meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The minister wore one of the caps, which had the logo of the All Progressives Congress and the inscription “Continuity ‘19: Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo" on it.
