The governors under the umbrella of Nigerian Governors Forum who visited President Muhammadu Buhari in London are on their way back. ' The governors who visited the president at the Abuja House in London are Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom) and Kashim Shettima (Borno). They met with the president yesterday and testified to his jovial and healthy demeanor.

Oyo commences Free Medical Services on Monday

The Oyo State Government has announced that another series of Governor Abiola Ajimobi Free Health Mission (Free Medical services) will start on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Adeoyo Maternity Teaching hospital, Yemetu Ibadan as part of the events commemorating the sixth anniversary of the Abiola Ajimobi Administration in Oyo State. The free Health Mission, which involves free surgical services, screening and treatment of high blood pressure, diabetics, malaria, family planning, HIV screening, immunization and vitamin A for children under one year, will hold across the six geo-political zones of the state.

Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has told contractors handling the multi-billion naira road construction within Ibadan metropolis and residents of the affected areas that he did not intend to hand over uncompleted road projects to whoever will succeed him in 2019.

Almost Everybody In Nigeria Is Corrupt –Ajimobi

Abiola Ajimobi, the Oyo State Governor has said every Nigerian is corrupt in one way or the other either by financial misconduct, attitudinal corruption or the inability to restrain oneself from certain corrupt action. Reacting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s war against corruption, he told newsmen at the National Secretariat of the All Pro­gressives Congress (APC), Abuja: “We are looking at corruption in a global per­spective as against just tak­ing money. If you look at it generally, you will see that virtually every Nigerian is corrupt, virtually everybody is corrupt in one way or the other either attitudinally, fi­nancially or socially, and this, we believe should be looked into.
