Burna Boy wins Best International Act at BET Awards

Burna Boy has won the Best International Act category, at the 2019 BET Awards which took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, United States of America (USA).

Debra Lee steps down as BET CEO

Debra Lee is stepping down from her post as CEO and chairman at the Viacom-owned cable network,BET. Lee, who first joined BET in 1986 as its first in-house counsel, built the network to become the top African-American brand, as the cabler is in more than 60 countries and reaches 125 million households.

Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg & More Play In The BET Celebrity Basketball Game [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

As part of the 2014 BET Experience at L.A. LIVE, they held a Sprite Celebrity Basketball Game.

The free event, which already included artists such as Snoop Dogg, the Game, Tyga, Omarion and Soulja Boy, featured two surprise additions: Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. 

The two singers ended up being on opposite teams and had their own showdown on the court. Snoop Dogg was also one of the crowd favorites.
