Dapchi schoolboy ‘Pure water’ vendor freed by Boko Haram

Here is the face of the Dapchi schoolboy, a pure water vendor captured by Boko Haram on 19 February, along with 111 schoolgirls. The boy came to the Dapchi Girls Secondary Science and Tech College to sell pure water, when he was kidnapped alongside the Dapchi schoolgirls.

105 Dapchi schoolgirls now released by Boko Haram – Lai Mohammed

The Nigerian government has now confirmed that 105 girls have been released from among 110 kidnapped in Dapchi, Yobe State. The girls were released early on Wednesday weeks after they were kidnapped from their secondary school in Dapchi, Yobe State. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, who stated these, is currently at the Air Force Base in Maiduguri waiting to receive the released girls.

PDP Reacts To Release Of Dapchi School Girls By Boko Haram

The Peoples Democratic Party has reacted to the release of about 101 Dapchi school girls reportedly kidnapped by Boko Haram members in Yobe state. Reacting through its National Publicity Secretry, Kola Ologbondiyan on Wednesday, the party accused the Federal Government of staging the abduction and release of the girls.
