Arsene Wenger is desperately seeking for a world-class goal poacher in the transfer window to turn the fortunes of the English club, Arsenal. Arsene Wenger is on the lookout for big names up front this summer, but failed in an attempt to persuade Jamie Vardy to leave Leicester City for the Emirates Stadium, according to the Metro. Gonzalo Higuain was one of the best strikers in Europe last season, scoring 38 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions, 36 of which came in Serie A to set a new record for the most goals by a single player in an Italian top flight campaign. The Argentine sharp-shooter was a target for the Gunners back in 2013, though he ended up at Napoli instead when offloaded by former club Real Madrid.
