Katy Perry To Earn $25m As ‘American Idol’ Judge

Katy Perry's got millions of new reasons to sing all the way to the bank - because she's taking home a massive paycheck for "American Idol." The "Firework" singer is set to earn $25 million from ABC as a judge on the recently revived reality singing competition, TMZ reports. Executives at ABC - which won a bidding war earlier this month to bring back "American Idol" - wanted to secure a big-name personality for the show ahead of last week's upfront presentations.

The Battle of The Pop Divas… supposedly. Lady Gaga throws some Twitter shade assumed for Katy Perry for imitating her style.

 

Perry is the assumed target of the tweet above because she wears a neon-green wig and rides across the stage atop a fake horse during her Prismatic tour, which kicked off on Wednesday.

For Gaga’s ArtRAVE tour, she sports a similar green wig at her current concerts, and in 2013 she arrived at the American Music Awards on horseback.

  It’s funny how Gaga is ‘potentially’ targeting Perry, when she herself has been accused of appropriating other divas’ work…. aka Madonna!

Gaga should remember what she told Andy Cohen last September during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live”; “I just think it’s very unfair of anyone to pit another woman against another woman, especially in the space of music, when we’re all just trying to be taken seriously at all as females.”
