N-power assessment will began on the 1st of July, 2017! Applicants who register between July 1st - July 13th will write their assessment tests between July 25th - July 31st.

In a tweet Friday morning on N-Power‏ twitter handle, @npower_ng, it was stated that submission of application does not conclude the process. The clarification might be in response to the perception of those who believe their entry for the programme guarantees a placement.

N-power non-graduates scheme begins July

The Presidency says the Federal Government will begin the non-graduates scheme component of the N-Power programme in July. Afolabi Imoukhuede, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation (N-Power Scheme), disclosed this at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja. He said N-Power had two broad components, namely: graduate and non-graduate schemes. “We are hopeful that by June/July we should deploy those ones in different batches across the country and FCT. “So it is worthy of note that those who applied for that programme (non-graduates) should just stay rested.

The Federal Government has revealed it will employ at least 350,000 more graduates under the N-power volunteer corps scheme The Buhari administration has unfolded plans to hire additional 350,000 graduates under the N-Power Volunteer Corps. This will bring the engaged graduates to 550,000. According to the Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity to the President, Mr. Laolu Akande, President Buhari has requested appropriation of N157.75B in the 2017 budget estimates for the N-Power scheme. The N-Power is just one of the many SIPs that has so far drawn the interest and praise of Nigerians across board, Akande observed adding that a lot more will come, especially this year, urging Nigerians to actively come out and take advantage of the different schemes this year.

FG Begins Shortlisting Candidates For 500,000 Jobs - Minister

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said this on Wednesday in Abuja when a delegation of the National Council for Women’s Societies (NCWS) paid him a courtesy visit in his office. Mr. Mohammed said applications were being received and the government had started processing them for the recruitment. “The process for the recruitment has started. “About 1.2 million people applied and they classified them into categories including agriculture support officers, teachers, technical officers and so on,’’ he said
