Boko Haram Leader, Shekau Drops Audio Message, Says He’s Still Alive

The confusion of what has happened to the leader of Boko Haram terrorists group, Abubakar Shekau was almost erased last week when the President of Chad, Idriss Deby that the notorious Shekau has been killed and new leader emerged.

However, in a swift reply, Boko Haram has allegedly dropped an audio tape where Shekau claims he is still alive and in charge of Boko Haram.

"Last week the President of Chad, Idriss Deby, said Boko Haram had ousted Abubakar Shekau and appointed a new leader. But an audio message has now emerged in which Mr Shekau claims he's still in charge," BBC reports.
