was infact damaged by one of the supporters who could not be
identified.
The German Football Association President Wolfgang Niersbach confirmed it german press Die Welt: "At one point, a small piece of our World Cup trophy was chipped off.
"We have investigated persistently who it was that damaged the trophy, but the investigation was concluded without a result.''

The damaged trophy is just the replica awarded the German team after the July 13 final.
