Divorce Saga: Anita Oyakhilome’s Cousin Resigns from Christ Embassy

The conclusion has not yet been heard on the aftermath of the divorce saga between Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife, Rev Anita Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy church. Sources close to the church have disclosed that the alleged sacked Pastor Mitchell Okojie, was not actually dismissed but resigned from the church on her own. The decision she allegedly took as a result of her family ties with Anita, as she is said to be a cousin to the erstwhile wife of Oyakhilome.

A member of the church has dropped a post on Okojie’s suspension, saying, "Pastor Mitchell Okojie is not young in ministry, she and her husband have been pastor’s usher even before they got married. She is Rev Anita’s cousin and very close to her. Look at your IPPC videos, she’s her personal usher at programmes.

"If she’s accused of peddling misleading information, technically, the information may not be incorrect and misleading depends on angle of view. Witch-hunting, Bullying, intimidation, Transfer Agreession, ethnic cleansing of any trace of rev Anita and obviously fear for others to shut up.

  Pastor Mitchell resigned as I found out 6 months ago and left the ministry and informed the president of her decision."
