A 33-year-old freelance camera operator for NBC News, has tested
positive to the Ebola virus. He was part of a crew of five that featured
the network's top medical reporter, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, who has been
in Monrovia reporting on the Ebola outbreak. I guess in all of the
recording, the camera operator, whose name has been withheld, got the
virus.
He is officially the fourth American to contract the virus in Liberia.
According to NBC, the cameraman will be flown back to the States for
treatment. Also Dr. Nancy Snyderman and the rest of the crew will also
be brought home to the U.S. via a private jet. Once they arrive, they
will be placed on quarantine and monitored for 21 days.
This thing eh...i think its just God that is saving someone. Can you
imagine that one of the guys who was infected with the virus in 9ja, all
he did was to open the door when they were bringing in Patrick Sawyer
into the hospital. And with just that singular act he contracted the
virus. God help us oh.
