"I Am Single & Ready To Mingle"- Movie Producer, Adewunmi Fatai Reveals

Beautiful nollywood movie producer and actress Adewunmi Fatai in an interview with OCB reveals that she is single and ready for a relationship. Known for her make up jobs, Adewunmi who just shot another chatbuster movie "Trust" talks about what makes her movie different from other movies and the challenges faced during the production of her new flick....read excerpts below:

You have just shot another movie, tell me how was it like getting all those stars on set.

 It wasn't easy though but thanks to Almighty Allah who made it possible.

There are speculations that the new movie is English. ...considering the title "Trust" what's your take on this?

 It's a Yoruba movie and the title is "IFOKANTAN" (trust). The movie is 70% Yoruba and 30% English.

Is this like your first movie?

 Actually, this is my second....OMONIKARA was my first movie.

What would you consider the most challenging part of the poduction?

 Mehn! That would be the whole location things...but above glory be to God, everything went well. ..Adupe!

When did you start acting?

 I started acting officially in 2004.. I joined the movie industry 2004 with Legacy caucus by Kunle Afod as an actress then but because I was very small I don't get a good roles so I faced my studies and went to a makeup school and with God I make my name in makeup. Before I now started movie production officially last year. Though my brother Dele Ogundipe produced one movie for me then "ayalaba" in 2011.

Considering the competition in the industry, how do you think you as  a producer and actress would make it?

Considering the fact that everybody has there own style of acting and producing, when you make good movies people will want to see more of you and with God everything is possible .

Are there people you look up to in the industry?

 The people I look up to in the industry are fathia balogun, iyabo ojo, femi adebayo, liz da-silver, ronke ojo, dele ogundipe, kunle afod and mustapha sholagbade.  

Let's get to met you? 

 I am Adewumi Fatai, a producer, makeup artist and an actress. I am a graduate of Lagos State Polytechnics. I was born & raised in Lagos.... Oluwole precisely. I am d second child of my mum.....I am a devoted muslim in ma early 30's. 

Aside acting, what else are you into? 

 Like I said earlier, I am a make up artist...when I am not acting then I will be busy making people look beautiful. I have a beauty studio at Tinubu complex, Oshodi, Lagos. I train upcoming make up artistes. 

Let me state that I am not a full time actress i am just acting because of big contract and to know big people because sometimes there are some places you  won't be able to enter if you are not a popular person but if you have the face they will allow you. I met so many people I know today through makup so I can Never quit make up for acting. 

Are you in a relationship? 

 LOL, I am single and ready to mingle. 

 How do you cope with sexual harassment? 

 To be candid, most guys in the industry are like my friends and brothers..that makes sexual harassment a NO for me. 

For some people looking up to you, your advise? They should just be strong and keep doing their thing....one day God will see them through.

 But I must also let them know that humility and loyalty would go a long way. 

 What should we be expecting from you?
