Boko Haram attacks Yobe School, kills 3, injures 20

According to reports, Boko Haram this Friday morning, attacked the College of Administrative and Business Studies, CABS, Potiskum, Yobe State, killing three students and wounding another 20.

According to a source in the state, the insurgents attacked the school at about 8:30am. The insurgents, numbering about 5, stormed the school premises through the main gate after killing the security guard, shooting randomly on the students.

One of the insurgents was said to have died when an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, strapped to his chest exploded and injured over 20 students. Medical workers have mobilized to the school to evacuate the injured, while security has been stepped up in Damaturu, the state capital and Potiskum.
