Manchester United to Sell Goalkeeper De Gea for €30m

Talented goalkeeper, David De Gea might be leaving Manchester United as the club has decided to drop their asking price from €46 million to €35 million for him moving to closer to Real Madrid’s offer of €30 million.

According To Spanish Sports Daily AS, Manchester United are keen to wrap up the sale of the 24-year-old before the team reconvenes ahead of the their pre-season campaign on Monday and at the very latest, before they head to the United States for their pre-season tour. However, the sale of De Gea has slowed over the past week as United have shifted their focus to want-away Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos, who has informed the club of his intention to make a move to Old Trafford this summer.
While the two transfers are independent of each other, the transfer of one player could facilitate the transfer of the other in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, reports have Recently Surfaced stating that Manchester United have informed Real Madrid that if they up their bid for De Gea, they will pay more for Ramos. Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is pressuring the board to sell De Gea so that they can bring in Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for a €20 million, a move that can only go through once De Gea have joined Real Madrid
