Drunk Teen Found Dead In Walk-in Freezer

A teenager has been found dead in a walk-in freezer following her disappearance from a party at a hotel with friends. Kenneka Jenkins' body was discovered more than 24 hours after she vanished from the party in a ninth-floor hotel room. Her friends upon being questioned by her mum said they left after the lost track of her at the party. The 19-year-old's family launched a desperate search which came to a tragic end as staff searched the hotel. . According to police, the deceased apparently let

herself into the freezer while she was inebriated.

Speaking with the Chicago Tribune, Miss Jenkins' mum to Tereasa Martin said the police informed her that her daughter apparently let herself into the freezer while she was inebriated and died inside. . Police are still investigating, and a post mortem was scheduled to confirm the cause of death. The freezer had been turned on and was cold but was not being used to store food, the Chicago Tribune reported. . . But Miss Jenkins' mum, Ms Martin refuses to believe that her daughter entered the freezer on her own. She said: "Those were double steel doors, she didn't just pop them open."
