Nollywood screen diva, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, who was captured on camera celebrating with widows, orphans, in Lagos on Wednesday, as she kicked off her 40th birthday celebration, held her 40th birthday Couple’s Retreat yesterday.

Photos from Omotola Jalade's 40th birthday Couple's Retreat lailasnews 17 Omotola, who planned a 5-day event for her birthday celebration and they include; Day 1 of the event: A ‘Give And Let Give To Widows and Orphans’ event. A Couples Retreat themed ‘Reciprocative Respect, Mental Health And Avoiding Slavery In Marriage’ will take place the following day, Thursday February 8th, 2018. The Retreat which is for young married couples and those seriously considering marriage will take place at the Ember Creek, Landmark Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos and will see the likes of Lanre Olushola, Darey Art Alade, Mrs Nimi Akinkugbe, Captain Matthew Ekeinde and the celebrant, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde as facilitators. As part of the five-day celebration, there will be a ‘Renaissance Trip To Trace The Beginning Of Slavery’ on Friday February 9th and Saturday, February 10th, with a symposium titled ‘Mental Slavery And The Emancipation Of The Black Race’ taking place. 

 The celebration will climax on Sunday February 11th, 2018 with a ball tagged ‘The Omosexy Grand Ball.’ Omotola Jalade who kicked off her 40th birthday celebration on February 7 with a ‘Give And Let Give To Widows And Orphans’ event, told Premium Times; “I have always had a soft spot for widows and orphans for many years now because I can relate to their plight. My mum was a widow for 10 years before she passed on 16 years ago. I am also an orphan so I do what it feels like to be an orphan. ”My team have always showed love and encouraged widows who have strived to keep the home front in order despite the demise of their spouses.” 

 The event would be followed by Couples Retreat themed “Reciprocate, Respect, Mental Health And Avoiding Slavery In Marriage” on February 8. As part of the event, there will be a ”Renaissance Trip To Trace The Beginning Of Slavery” on February 9, 2018, which will be followed by a Symposium on “Mental Slavery And The Emancipation Of The Black Race” on Saturday.
