Mrs. Mlumum Adyorough, the wife of the slain aide to the Benue State Governor, has started recovering from the attack which led to the death of her husband, Dr Tavershima Adyorough. However, she had yet to be informed of her hubby’s death. According to Punch Metro, the woman enquired about the husband from the state Deputy Governor, Benson Abounu, on Monday, when the latter visited her at the Intensive Care Unit of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi, Benue State.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom demands the arrest and prosecution of the killers of his Principal Special Assistant on Knowledge Economy and Investments, Dr Tavershima Adyorough. Dr Adyorough was shot and killed by gunmen who invaded his residence at about 12.30 this morning and also shot his wife who is on admission in hospital. Governor Ortom describes the killing as unacceptable and condemnable, requesting security agencies to swing into action immediately so as to arrest those responsible for the dastardly act.
