Police Parade 6 Over Death Of Gulder Ultimate Search Winner ,Hector

Lagos State Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgal, yesterday, said the state Command, in the last one week, arrested six persons over the killing of Hector Jobarteh, winner of third edition, Guilder Ultimate Search, GUS. 

It will be recalled that Hector, 38, was shot dead at his Oko-Oba residence on September 4, shortly after returning from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, where he went to pick up a sibling.

The New Jersey woman who threw a stranger's 5-year-old daughter in front of an oncoming train as part of a "human sacrifice" will stand trial after pleading not guilty. Autumn N. A teenage mother has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing her infant daughter to death.

Police in Columbus, Ohio, arrested 17-year-old Lachelle Martina Marie Anderson on Sunday after she called 911 to report that her child needed medical attention and was not moving.

German Nurse Suspected Of killing 84 Patients

A German nurse who was sentenced to life imprisonment two years ago, for killing two patients with lethal drug overdoses is now a suspect in at least 84 more murders, police said Monday.

The nurse Niels Hoegel, 40, was jailed in February 2015 for two murders of intensive-care patients at the Delmenhorst hospital near the northern city of Bremen.

Policeman Commits Suicide After Killing Senior Officer

A policeman, Abraham Arowogun attached to Kajola Divisional Police Station, Kajola, in Odigbo area of Ondo State has committed suicide by jumping into a deep well in the police station.

The incident which occurred on Tuesday was still mysterious to other police officers at the divisional police station as well as the people of the community.

A 26-year-old woman has been murdered by a man she met on Facebook after visiting the man at his house. According to a report by Daily Nation, the incident happened in Kenya. The man revealed that he first hit the woman with a weapon on the head before he suffocated and strangled her with a cloth. The report revealed that the suspect, Mr Richard Nyakina, was arrested in Kisii by police officers from the Special Crime Prevention Unit on Friday. Police claim Mr Nyakina revealed the scene where he allegedly “murdered” Ms Lydia Nyaboke at Mutuini in Dagoretti. The two, according to Ms Nyakoke’s brother Japhet Mogeni, met on Facebook some time back and decided to meet face-to-face on July 23 in Nairobi. A 34-year-old man identified as Fred Igueriede, has been shot dead by a mobile policeman during a burial at Emede, in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. According to Punch Metro, it was gathered that the deceased, a father of two, was shot dead while trying to exchange pleasantries with his former employer, one Chief Johnny Aribogha. The trigger-happy cop was said to be Aribogha’s security detail. A businessman simply identified as Ebuka, a provision dealer in Awka-Etiti said to have masterminded the killing of a 9-year old Enugu indigene who lives in the town with his parents has been disgraced and stripped n*ked in Anambra state. According to Eyewitness News, the little boy was said to have mistakenly collected biscuits and peak milk from Ebuka's shop in the company of his younger brother. For allegedly stealing the peak milk without the man's consent, the boy's skin began to rot forcing the parents to start looking for a cure for their son. The parents were told that Ebuka had a hand in the boy's ailment and could help.

However, Ebuka who dedicated his shops to some deities in Ukpor in the state was demanding for the sum of N15m for him to offer his help. About N475,000 was paid (According to an eyewitness), but all attempts to save the life of the teenager proved abortive as he gave up the ghost before help could come. The leaders of Awka-Etiti therefore swung into action and arrested Ebuka. He was stripped n*ked and paraded in public for the boy's death.

A primary school teacher was shot dead in full view of pupils on Monday.The woman, Kate Chiloane, 30, was shot by her husband who later shot himself at their home.
