Involve Africa Hosted 120 Young Nigerian Leaders to An Evening With the Youngest Local Govt Boss In Lagos, Gbenga Abiola

The Involve Africa Group hosted the youngest Local Government Area boss, Hon Gbenga Abiola, the current sole Administrator of Agege LGA.
The event was held at the MRC Hall, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos on Tuesday, June 27th.

The event which was themed; Youth & Governance: Access, Capacity and Engagement had Hon Abiola share his experience so far in politics of the State and how he remained relevant till he was appointed by the State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
The Founder and Executive Director  of Involve Africa, Ibrahim Owolabi stated that the project is to encourage young active Africans get involved in the democratic governance process of Nigeria and Africa at large.

Representatives of Tingo Mobile Ltd and MTI PLC announced today that the two companies will be merging, resulting in Tingo Mobile PLC. Tingo Mobile rose to prominence so quickly by focussing on Nigeria and East Africa, selling cheap smart and feature phones to farmers' cooperatives, market cooperatives, artisans and transport unions across Nigeria. Tingo Mobile sold over eight million phones to these groups in the first quarter of 2015. Tingo is also taking the mobile chat and mobile payments market by surprise, with emphasis on African and Indian contents. Tingo has also been developing nano-battery technology and a cloud operating system for mobile phones. Tingo is yet to announce a date for its retail release.
