PDP Chairmanship: Raymond Dokpesi Suffers 'Embarrassment' from PDP Youths

Former AIT boss, Raymond Dokpesi who is currently aspiring to be the next National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party has been technically rejected by the party's youth operating under the aegis of Youth Forum For Democracy in Osun State for massive cases of fraud linked to his name in the previous administration. The group urged Dokpesi to return the alleged N2.1 billion linked to him from the Office of the National Security Adviser by anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, according to the Punch.

Court Defers Dokpesi's Bail Application, Keeps Him Custody

The AIT chairman, Raymond Dokpesi today went back to EFCC custody as Justice Gabriel Kolawole has deferred ruling in his bail application. The media mogul is being tried by the Federal Government on six count charges of violation of Public Procurement laws and money laundering.

Buhari Can’t Stop AIT From Covering His Activities- Dokpesi

The owner of Daar Communications PLC, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi has said the president-elect, General Mohammadu Buhari lacks the power to stop his private tv station, AIT, from covering his activities, hence the president-elect might jst be bringing Nigeria back to the era of Decree 4, where a lot of journalists were jailed under his regime. While speaking exclusively to Premium Times, Dokpesi made it clear, AIT has the responsibilities of reporting the activities of the soon to be Nigeria’s first citizen to Nigerians.
