Fela Appears to Me in Dreams - Yeni Kuti Makes Interesting Revelation

Yeni, the first daughter of the late creator of Afrobeat music, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has come up with what she believes is a solution to the ever-increasing incidence of corruption in Nigeria.

 

Speaking during a radio talk-show titled, ‘The discourse with Jimi Disu’ and broadcast on the Classic FM 97.3 recently, the out-spoken lady urged the Federal Government to consider adopting traditional African medicine (also known as ‘juju’) as a tool for fighting corruption, especially in official circles.

Yeni Kuti ‘is beyond devastated’ over ex-husband’s death

Yeni Kuti, close sources say, is beyond devastated over the death of her ex-husband Femi Segun.

Femi Segun who passed away on Friday morning, March 21, 2013 died from complications due to multiple injuries sustained in a road accident while riding his power bike in Lagos on Friday, March 14, 2014.

‘Yeni hasn’t stopped crying since the accident happened. We’ve not seen her like this before. It’s really sad‘, a close family friend tells NET. ‘After his death, she completely broke down‘.

Yeni, popularly called YK Power because of her tomboy mannerism and hands on character has a daughter for Femi Segun, 26-year-old Leeds University graduate Rolari Segun.

The family is yet to release a statement over Segun’s death.
