Ahmad Salkida is one Journalist close to the Boko Haram sect and he reportedly maintains communication with some of their leaders. Contrary to popular reports, Ahmad tweeted that Abubakar Shekau is very much alive and well. Some other reports claim that the man killed just looks like Abubakar Shekau, but in reality it was one Bashir Mohammed that was killed.

Ahmad also addressed the report that the FG is trying to swap some Boko prisoners for the girls.
