An 18-year-old girl, Blqis Adebayo has reached the top 25 finalists selected from around the world  for the 2014 World Muslimah Awards, the Muslim beauty pageant in Indonesia.
Blqis Adebayo, a student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism is hoping to win the coveted crown for Most Beautiful Muslim Girl in the World.

She attended Iqra Comprehensive High school and Al-Hikma College, finishing her secondary education in 2011.
About 25 finalists from around the world are competing in the final round of the contest, exclusively for Muslim women in Yogyakarta.
The competition which started on November 13 is scheduled to end November 21.

The current winner is a Nigerian, Obabiyi Aisha Ajibola, a student of the University of Lagos, who competed in 2013.
