In 2013, SaharaReporters reported that
the first lady has a multi-billion naira hotel, called Aridolf Resort
Wellness Centre & Spa , However it seems not many people considered
the report true. Fast forward to 2015 and international news site, Financial Times, is confirming SaharaReporters' report in a new article posted in the 21st of this month. Part of the article reads,
Today, Yenagoa is a sprawling construction site. But the Aridolf, which is owned by Patience Jonathan, wife of the outgoing president, is symptomatic of how superficial progress has been in addressing the festering sense of marginalisation in the region, which remains desperately impoverished despite benefiting from a tide of petrodollars in recent years.
