It was a big surprise for the family of the former Nigerian minister of information and communication, and one time NAFDAC Director General, Late Dr Dora Nkem Akunyili as her husband discovered over 100 more awards in her name.
The awards were discovered packed inside a box in her safe room. The late Dr Akunyili won so many awards too numerous to mention both at home and in Diaspora for her selfless service and fight against counterfeit drugs.
Her son James Loius on Facebook: "Almost 2years after her burial daddy (Dr. Chike Akunyili) discovered another 2 big boxes of awards in Dora's inner bed room.I have just counted it and its 110 in number.jeez..... i have come to hang them like i did the other 820... "
