Malala Yousafai urges Yemi Osinbajo to declare state of emergency on education sector

20-year-old activist, Malala Yousafzai has urged the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo to declare state emergency in the education sector.


Speaking with State House reporters yesterday after a closed door meeting with Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Malala said the first issue she highlighted was “to ask the government to declare a state of emergency for education because the education of the Nigerian girls and boys is really important.”

Malala Yousafzai heartbroken after Donald Trump signs order keeping out Refugees

Young female activist, Malala Yousafzai took to Facebook on Friday asking President Donald Trump not to close U.S. doors to defenseless refugee children seeking asylum in the country. Malala Yousafzai attackers sentenced to life in prison in Pakistan


Malala was shot in the head by the Pakistani Taliban in valley of Swat for advocating education for women. A public prosecutor says a Pakistani court has sentenced 10 militants to life in prison for their involvement in the 2012 attack on teenage activist Malala Yousafzai. Public prosecutor Sayed Naeem said the court announced the ruling Thursday at an undisclosed location because of security reasons.
