Corps Members, others die in car accident in Delta

On Sunday two members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), alongside four unidentified travelers died in ghastly auto crash while traveling from Effurun to Sapele, on Warri-Benin Expressway. The accident, which involved a Jetta car and a black SUV, occurred at about 11:30a.m. near Okwejeba Junction in Okpe council area of Delta State.

“The Jetta car left Effurun on its way to Sapele when it had a head-on collision with the SUV, which was coming from the opposite direction on speed.” An eyewitness revealed. Though the Warri-Benin Expressway is a dualised road, motorists are faced with using single sections of the road owing to some bad spots.
