Woman Leaves Her Kids Inside Hot Car for Hours as Punishment...What Happened Next is Heartbreaking

Cavanaugh and Juliet Ramirez were left in the car by their mother

A woman who left her own kids inside a hot car as a form of punishment, has ended up being completely heartbroken. These are the two toddlers died of heatstroke after they were allegedly left by their mother in her hot car for several hours to teach them a lesson. According to Metro UK, the deaths in Weatherford, north Texas, were found by autopsies to be from heatstroke, with temperatures being in the 90s, and a medical examiner determined that they were homicides. The children were two-year-old Juliet Ramirez and one-year-old Cavanaugh Ramirez, of Weatherford. Their mother, Cynthia Randolph, originally said they locked themselves in her car, said officials.
Temperatures outside were 96F (35.5°C) but would have been significantly higher in the car. Randoph said later that Juliet refused to get out of the car so she locked both of the young children inside to teach them a lesson, thinking they would get out on their own, according to an arrest affidavit.

Cynthia Randolph changed her story several times when confronted by police
Randolph was arrested in June on injury to a child counts and remains in jail, Parker County records showed. It is alleged that she went inside to smoke marijuana and took a nap for two to three hours. She changed her story several times, police said, telling investigators she had searched the house for some time. She then said she discovered them in the car in distress and smashed the window – apparently to try and make it look like an accident. They then discovered that she actually left them in the car to teach Juliet a lesson. She is currently in custody.
