A cult kingpin, Chigbo Aniegbu, who was allegedly involved in the murder of a former lawmaker in Anambra State, Frank Igboka, has said members of his gang killed the legislator for banishing them from Nimo community. According to PUNCH,while being paraded at the Anambra State Police Command’s headquarters on Monday, the 27-year old suspect said Igboka terrorised his gang while serving as the President General of Nimo community.

Bricklayer sells his 6-week old twins for N500k
A 26-year-old bricklayer, Kenneth Ofoke, has been arrested in Benin, Edo State, for allegedly selling his six-week-old twin babies for half a million naira. He also sold two other kids for N30,000 and N50,000 respectively .
The suspect, who hails from Eboyi State, was said to have sold the infants in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
In an interview with journalists, Ofoke claimed that he sold the twins “due to financial constraints and the ill health of the children and their mother.”
“My wife gave birth to twins; she and the twins fell ill. So, I called my aunt, who said I should bring them to Port Harcourt. She said she would help me out so that I could take care of their mother.
“When we got to Port Harcourt, my aunt asked us if we were really husband and wife and if the twins were our children and we said yes.

The lady identified as Gladys Assah-Asor also used part of the money to travel out and enjoy herself on vacation. Former Mrs. America Convicted Of Theft After Switching Price Tags


A onetime Mrs. America, Jennifer Susan Kline has been convicted of felony theft for switching price tags on clothes at a Macy’s department store in Southdale, Minnesota. According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, a jury found Jennifer Susan Kline guilty of a single felony count of theft by swindle on Tuesday evening after a seven-day trial. The jury determined that the amount of the theft was more than $1,000 but less than $5,000. Kline’s attorney argued to the jury that his client made a dumb mistake but that it was Macy’s fault for having such an easy return policy.

Lady Who Convinced Teenage Boyfriend To Kill Himself Sentenced To 2.5 Years In Prison


The Massachusetts woman who convinced her teenage boyfriend to kill himself via text messages was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison yesterday. Judge Leonard Muniz convicted Carter of involuntary manslaughter in June after she waived a jury trial and took her chances with a bench trial. Muniz ordered the 20-year-old to serve 15 months of her sentence with the rest suspended followed by 5 years probation after she’s released. The judge took into consideration that Conrad, then 18, had a history of suicide attempts in the 2 years prior to his death.

Day 56- Abducted Lagos pupils are fine, says CP

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has said the six abducted pupils of the Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe, are fine.

The pupils – Peter Jonah, Isiaq Rahmon, Adebayo George, Judah Agbausi, Pelumi Philips and Farouq Yusuf , had spent 55 days in captivity.

Police arrest Man in Possession of fresh Human Skull in Lagos


Officers of the Lagos state Police Command have arrested a 45-year-old man, Lucien Tosume suspected to be a ritualist, for possessing a human skull. Tosume was arrested on June 4 2017 following an intelligence report in Iraye village, Sagamu local government area of Ogun state.

Cult Members Throw Rival Into Lagos Lagoon


A suspected cult member identified as Ahmed Suleiman is being held in police custody for allegedly killing a man said to be a member of a rival gang. Punch Metro learnt that 27-year-old Suleiman connived with two others at large to throw the victim, whose name had yet to be ascertained, into a lagoon on Carter Bridge, Ebute Ero, Lagos State. It was gathered that the suspects had trailed their target from Ilorin, Kwara State, to Lagos. The three-man gang was said to have accosted the victim around 11.30am on Monday, tied his hands to the back and threw him into the lagoon.

Man Arrested With Human Parts In Delta State.


A 45-year old man, Felix Nnalu Chiabogwu, who is suspected to be a ritualist and member of a kidnapping gang, has been arrested by the Police in Delta State.
He was arrested on Sunday in Abavo with human body parts kept in kegs in which he poured a preservative fluid. The kegs were then concealed in two bags of garri.

Assassins storm Church, stab Pastor to death in Lagos


A gang of four men stormed the Christ Apostolic Church, Sanctuary of Blessing, in the Iju Ishaga area of Lagos State and stabbed the head of the ministry, Pastor Ibukun Adeyinka. After committing the crime they scaled the fence and fled the premises without taking any church properties. Adeyinka was taken to a private hospital from where he was referred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, where he was pronounced dead.

Nigerian Arrested In US For Robbing 4 Banks In New York


A 53yrs old Nigerian, who's a United Nations employee, was busted for robbing four Manhattan banks, all during his lunch hour, authorities said. Mr. Abdullahi Shuaibu was picked up by cops on Monday and hit with two counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery for the crimes committed during his two-month spree. New York Post reports that all four banks are within walking distance of UN headquarters on First Ave,, where the Nigerian works as a journalist for an African news agency, police said.

Plane attendant throws Woman who berates Trump’s supporter off plane

A woman was taken off an airplane after challenging a Donald Trump supporter. The poster, identified on Facebook as Scott Koteskey, shared the story Saturday, the day after the inauguration, recounting what he called his 'craziest experience ever on an airplane'. The situation began when he said he had come to celebrate. 'Is there going to be a problem?' the flight attendant asks. The woman tells the flight attendant she would like him to change seats.

Police stabs 'Agbero' to death two months to his wedding over N100

A policeman, who was a passenger on a 14-seater bus enroute from Ibadan, Oyo State reportedly stabbed a tout to death in Berger bus stop, Lagos State. The 'Agbero' identified, Ahmed was planning to marry in December before he met his untimely death few days ago.

The policeman was said to be serving in a command  outside Lagos.
One of Ahmed's friends had stopped the bus with the inscription, Success Express, and demanded N100 from the driver, who reportedly declined to pay the money. In the ensuing argument between the driver and the agbero, the policeman, who was at the front seat, reportedly got off from the bus.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested four domestic servants, including a driver and a houseboy, whose names were used to open bank accounts for Mrs Dame Patience Jonathan, the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Sources within the anti-graft agency said on Sunday that the companies’ accounts were opened at one of the new generational banks.

Spare Parts Dealer Caught With Hard Drugs Stuffed in His Anus (Photo)


The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) yesterday arrested Tochukwu Nzom, 46, for allegedly inserting 225 grammes of cocaine in his anus. He was about boarding an Air France flight to Paris, France at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos when he was arrested. He tested positive for narcotics on being screened. NDLEA airport commander Hamza Umar said two others – Henry Idehen and Peter Ilemena – were caught with 915 grammes and 1.225 kilogrammes of cocaine while returning from Brazil on an Emirates flight.
