Sunday Oliseh Confesses He’s Struggling Financially


The head coach of Nigeria national team, Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh has disclosed he is struggling financially in preparations for the crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualification tie against Egypt on March 25 in Kaduna. Oliseh, disclosed on a Brila FM sports programe that his team list is being delayed because it is hard for him to move around Europe to meet the players he intends to invite for the tie.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday urged Nigerians to exercise patience with Sunday Oliseh, the Super Eagles Head Coach, in his quest to build a formidable team. The NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that few matches were not enough to assess Oliseh’s capability.

Oliseh arrives Nigeria to seal Super Eagles job

Super Eagles: Oliseh Has Been Confirmed As New Coach


The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that former Nigeria international Sunday Oliseh will coach the Super Eagles with a team that will include a Dutch as an assistant. A manager close to Oliseh in Europe, who has full knowledge of the talks between the NFF and Oliseh in London, confirmed to PUNCH on Wednesday that the former Eagles captain had accepted the job offer and would work with an assistant coach from Europe.
